Peculiar Perspectivez - A Formal, but Homosexual Curtsy

Perspective: a particular attitude toward or way of regarding something; a point of view. (Oxford Dictionary)

But why Peculiar? Because I am quite a peculiar person. An acquired taste. But also, because peculiar is a synonym for queer (thanks Google). I wanted to tie something of meaning to a community of which I belong. For years I’ve hid myself, but no longer will I.

Peculiar Perspectivez is NOT just photography, but more so a hybrid of a "written word" and sharing of photos. The subject(s) and/or event(s) I chose to photograph may come with a story, they may not. Usually, per my perspective, it's someone or something I can relate or connect to, or maybe I felt [it/they] had a story worth telling. A “perspective.”

I am extroverted by nature, always getting into conversations, even if by accident. But that has typically gotten me into some interesting situations or amazing adventures where I walk away with friends. This journey will be sporadic, meeting people and taking pictures as I go through life. There is no agenda, just maybe a message that might reach the right person at its rightful time.

With these writings, I don’t want the fluffy, unicorn - - “light at the end of the tunnel” shit. I want to know the hurt, the sad, the highs and the lows, but also the growth & the flourishing that took place afterward. How did you get out? What did it teach you? How did you know you were at bottom? And what is your perspective now?
